Karting

The club owns a large fleet of Karts, ranging from twin engine Pro-karts up to Highly tuned Rotax 125′s. We run regular trips to Tilbury Kart Circuit for our members; teaching driving techniques, track safety and kart maintenance.

Since it’s birth in 2001 (Will Tew former President), we have competed in the British University Karting Championships (BUKC) usually entering two teams of 4 drivers.
The BUKC is a great way to race against fellow University students in a low cost, high adrenaline racing league.
If you are interested in competing come along to the garage and talk to our Competition Secretary.

We run regular track days to outdoor Kart tracks around the UK. Our main track being Tilbury Kart Circuit located just over an hour East of London, near the Docks. It is a great track for all abilities.
Before we let you in a kart you have to complete a Kart '101' Briefing; this is a safety briefing and mostly common sense. Once this is done we will get you out on track
We have a number of onboard computers alowing us to review you lap times. We will teach you basic maintenance, racing lines and driving techniques during your day with us.
