The Formula Student competition is the biggest of its kind in Europe. Run by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), the competition challenges students from around the world to design and produce a single-seater racing car.
In addition to the skills required in the design and production of the car students are also required to show management, marketing and people skills as they market their cars as a viable small group (1000 units) production track day car.
