Throughout the year, EESoc will be organising events where we can just have fun and get to know others who are pursuing the same degree.

Some examples of previous social events organised are:
- EE Revue: an evening of talent showcase from both students and staff
- Christmas Ball: a formal dinner before the end of the first and longest term

But life is not all play. It's all very well being sheltered in university life and generally having fun. But what about that big bad world after graduation? In October, there will be an IET Industry Fair where you can come along to meet various company recruiters, find out more about the company or industry, and ask questions.

To help you gain an insight into the exciting industry of engineering, we are introducing the Lecture Series this year. If you find yourself wondering how nodal analysis or Fourier Transforms are significant outside lecture halls, then come along to this series of lectures given by industry experts working on cutting edge technology.
