Brand spanking new AeroSoc committee announced!

After a delayed City and Guilds College Union election due to a badministrative error, a new AeroSoc committee has been elected to lead the society to further greatness next year.
After some intensely fierce competition, the following stormed to victory and will take on their new committee roles alongside their Part III studies next year:
- AeroSoc Chair: Nikhil Chandaria
- AeroSoc Treasurer: Craig Mcpherson
- AeroSoc Secretary: Laurence Lai
And on the academic side of things, Benjamin Stubbens will take on the responsibilities of the Aeronautics department representative.
AeroSoc Pro Evo Tournament

The evening of Monday 25th February saw the advent of the first Pro Evolution Soccer tournament hosted by AeroSoc. A dozen-or-so wiley competitors made their way to the Roderick Hall lecture theatres for the opportunity to win just under £20 doing what they'd probably be doing anyway! Two PlayStation2s had been rigged to the rooms' audio/visual systems to provide students with a break from slides about compressibility and bypass cycles.

AeroSpaceWeb.org (also linked to on the right) has a good section on the hypersonic section of Advanced Mechanics of Flight. In fact it looks as though Dr Bharath has got a lot of his notes from there!
