City & Guilds College Union

Policy

1. Spanner and Bolt are the violateable mascots of the Union.
2. The aim of mascotry is to raise money for ICU Rag.
3. Infringement of the law or the regulations of Imperial College shall not be permitted.
4. No part of the Union subvention may be used to fund violate mascotry.
5. Only current students of the College may participate in mascotry.
6. The Union can only accept responsibility for any damage caused if the Vice-President (Activities) sanctioned the action.
7. Spanner and Bolt may be declared violate, or inviolate, by the President or Vice-President (Activities). The Vice-President (Activities) shall inform interested parties in writing of the decision.
8. Ratification and validity
   1. This policy was approved by the Executive Committee on 21 June 2005:
      John Collins - President of the Union
      Sunny Chui - Chairman of the Union
   2. This policy expires on 21 June 2008, or until superseded.
